A PC or Mac computer including a processor running at 300 megahertz (MHz).The minimum system requirements to download music on Qobuz. Note that DRM licenses were abandoned for the entire catalog as distributed by Qobuz. Still *VERY* early (Day 2) into my 30-day-free-trial, but my thoughts so far are: Click to expand.I requested mine on January 11 (I believe?) and I got my invite on Wednesday evening (Jan 29).What are the minimum system requirements? I had a 30-day-free-trial of Tidal over Christmas break (ending right around Jan 11 or so), which I liked as well. but I like this option more, for several reasons, some of which are probably unique to me but some of them may not be:ġ. the quality upgrade here is fantastic, and I feel like the Delta between GPM and Qobuz is bigger/better than what I remember is was for Tidal (which was also substantial and enjoyable, no doubt).

$200-per-year for CD quality is a considerably better "deal" than Tidal was offering me ($1 off per month when leveraging my Plex Pass). and the steps up from there to 24-bit and then "sublime" both seem like pretty small, reasonable bumps, that add value for what they're asking for.

I was really hoping to stream some "original masterings" of 90's era rock, but to my surprise, the only copy of Soundgarden Superunknown they had available was a 21st Century Remaster.ġ.5 days in, and I don't know yet what tier I'm going to opt for, but I'm fairly certain I'll be a paying customer after this trial expires.įully acknowledging in advance that this is all still in Beta, a couple of things I hope they get ironed out prior to public release (or just haven't figured out yet how to fix/address as-is) include:ġ.
